Praia do Camilo
A small and very popular beach.
Access is through a long wooden staircase. Clear water and rock formations make it one of the most photographed beaches in Lagos.
Praia dos Estudantes
Known for its iconic bridge.
It’s a small beach, but very photogenic and close to the centre.
Praia de Porto de Mós
A larger beach with more space.
Good for walking, relaxing, and sometimes surfing. There are also restaurants by the beach.

Part of the old defensive walls of the city.

Igreja de Santa Maria
Located in the main square, an important historical church in Lagos.
Mercado Municipal
A local market with fresh fish, seafood, and regional products.
Beyond Lagos
Burgau
A small fishing village with a quieter atmosphere.
Less crowded and more local than Lagos.
Praia da Luz (Rocha Negra)
Known for the black rock formation.
