As a local in Lisbon, one of the things i love most when it is sunny is go to the beach. Some tourists think there is a beach in the city center, but there isn’t. The good news is, it is very easy to get to the beach. The easiest is the beaches along the Cascais line. You can take the train from Cais do Sodré. Between Paço de Arcos and Cascais, there are many beaches along the coast. If you want to go a bit further, i like Cascais..

Praia do Tamariz (São João do Estoril)
Praia da Rainha (Cascais)
If you want to try beaches on the other side of the river, the Costa da Caparica, you can take the ferry from Belém to Trafaria. Just after you get off, there is a bus stop to the beaches.
