Jardim do Morro (Gaia)
Just across the Dom Luís I Bridge in Gaia. Famous for its sunsets — it’s where locals and travellers gather to watch the sky turn orange over Porto.
Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar (Gaia)
Also in Gaia, this 16th-century monastery is a UNESCO site with one of the most dramatic views of the Douro, the bridge, and the Ribeira district.
Miradouro da Vitória
A quiet spot in the city centre and still one of Porto’s best free viewpoints. You’ll see the Sé, the river, and the wine cellars of Gaia.
Jardins do Palácio de Cristal
Romantic gardens filled with peacocks, trees, and small fountains — with panoramic views that stretch along the Douro to the ocean.
